Work commences on the UCD Fulcrum Building.

The project consists of the construction of two new residential blocks. ‘Block D’ will contain 455 student bedrooms & ‘Block E’ will contain 409 student bedrooms, as well as the construction of a ‘Fulcrum’ building. The Fulcrum building is a two-storey student centre, with a 290-seat auditorium, restaurant, 5 retail units, gymnasium, health & wellbeing centre, meeting rooms and office accommodation. It also includes a five-storey residential block which contains 60 studio apartments.
